Every project you support contributes to the Great Green Wall – an ambitious African-led movement restoring 8,000km of land across the continent.
Trees hold the land together and in times of climate crisis when soil is so badly eroded, we need more trees. We have to think about new ways to support people who live off the land at this time of great climate crisis, and Tree Aid is doing amazing work in this area.”

Gifts that make a real difference
£2,090 could train 1,000 community members in Ethiopia about the importance of biodiversity and conservation.
£5,380 could purchase and install a shea processing machine to support a women’s cooperative group in northern Ghana.
£9,234 could distribute 1,000 fuel-saving stoves to families in Ethiopia to minimise the need for cutting trees for firewood.
£15,100 could establish a community nutrition garden to grow edible trees and plants in Mali.
